I need to get a camera.. but here is what I did.. I bought a cheep wagon at walmart..steel average sized one. then I cut a whole in the middle of the bottom of the wagon, built a sling so I could drop a car battery down in the wagon ..the top of the battery is only about 2 inchs above the bottom of the floor. That way I can put lots of stuff in the wagon, and carry lots of starting power, and charging amps. I also built a panel below the side of the wagon and installed my power panel there, with terminals to hook starters /chargers etc. too.

I haven't built the stands yet but I have some rectangular aluminum tubing on the ends of the wagon so I can drop in some big plane holders, I need to get on that!

Though it won't carry a plane to the pits, sometime ago I built a wheeled field box from a Black and Decker tool cjhest. I just went through earlier posts of mine to be able to link to a thread where I described what I did and which contained some pictures, but couldn't find the thread. However, I did come across someone else's similar set up, and here's the link to it... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_16.../tm.htm#167247

I am also attaching a number of pictures of my set up. Hope that this is helpful...

Probably the reason you aren't getting many responses to this thread is because on June 18, 2002 a thread was started called" THE FIELD BOX FROM HELL! aka The Ultimate Field box!

This thread has lasted thru June, 2006 and the subject has been about thrashed to death with 510 posts to the thread.

Check it out - there are lots of variations of rooling field boxes there.

I use a Stanley Rolling Tool Box. I copied it from fellow combat pilots. It can be seen at www.georgiacombat.com. Go to Glow Powered Combat, click on Combat Techniques and Technology then click on Flite Line Equipment.[8D]
