Here are some pics of my SIG field boss which was put together with 60-min epoxy and finished with 3 coats of zolathane clear polyurethane. The wood grains turned out great and there's a nice tint. I've used the 1/4" ply meant for the drawer dividers and some additional 1/4" ply to fabricate the removable cradles and the removable fuel pump holder. Let me know if anyone needs help to put this together. Good luck !

I really like your plane holder!
Here a shot of my modifications. Power panel, fast charger + air for retracts.
You can see more at my sig box page

Rajul,
What is the dial in your last picture? Is it attached to an air-pump, or could it be a removable meat thermometer? Whatever it is, you did a masterful job on the wood. Looks sweet!

Hi All,
The dial is for an air pump for retracts. I took the internals from a $9 air pump I bough at Walmart.
The whole thing weights about 30 pounds. This include the gallon fuel, dynatron starter, tools in the drawers, fast charger, power panel, air pump, electric fuel pump, etc)

Hi apache3, you can actually buy the box in kit form from SIG. This large version is called Field Boss but they have a smaller version now. The other stuff, you can make yourself with 1/4" ply and the pics I've posted shows you how. Quite easy actually.......
