Can i seal decals printed with inkjet printer using some kind of varnish (i heard lustercote works well but i have quite a bit of unused varnish) making it water/fuel proof

I have air brushed water-based urethane over ink jet label material press on graphics without any bleeding. Still haven't determined the fuel resistance, though, since they are on a diesel-powered plane.

I print decals on my inkjet printer and then use clean monokote to seal them up.

I did the same thing as RCKen. I printed them on a color laser printer, though. Cut some clear monokote and it works great.
