Default Midwest Beercat

I was recently handed a kit made by midwest called the Beercat Livewire biplane.

I just came from the kit review and it was not listed.

Does anyone have any information on this plane?

Thanks
Randy

The Beercat is an old plane. Midwest does not make it anymore. Check the date on the plans, should be on the lower right hand corner. Never built that kit, so I can't tell you how well it flies.

An old Harold DeBolt design.

Hal deBolt's Beercat was a semi-scale 40 sized model based on an airplane designed for the biplane class of Reno racers. The original airplane was designed and built by Ronald Johnson and Robert Speed and flew in 1969 and 1971. Must not have been very competitive however.
