Default Hinge cotter pins

Anyone know where to get just the cotter pins for the Dubro hinges like these http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD944&P=7
They're either 1.2mm or 3/64" diameter by about 1" long and are brass. I've tried the usual places, Enco, MSC etc. but they don't have them.

Your looking for DuBro # 307. They no longer sell them . Google them & you will find some . Good Luck, Max H.

Try your local fastner store (Fastenal or whatever is in your area). Usually they will have them.

First thing I would try as a replacement is a straight pin.

.047 music wire is what I use. Use a piece long enough to go through the hinge and back over the top of the hinge with enough left over to bend a hook on the end. Makes it easy to slide into the hinge and locks itself in place. Easy remouval as well.

I have done pbs one better. Use one piece of music wire & go through all the hinges on one side at once. Bend two small two 90 degree bends at outer end & stick in surface with one drop of fast CA. Max

Ditto on post #6

However it does mean that the hinges must be installed straight to
each other to prevent any binding.
