RE: do's and don'ts of filming an rc plane or heli
For example - Take off . Ground in view till sky is in view around 10 sec. Than stop rolling till plane is trimed out .<div> When the next low pass is coming, sky, ground, sky , stall turn etc. and back for a Knife edge pass (Ground in view)</div><div>With smoke on sky in view for a cubin 8 , and a inverted flat spin etc. And back to ground in view. </div>

I would still have to say that a lot depends on the type of video you're shooting. Are you just shooting an artistic video of your plane, or are you reviewing the plane?
In my case I am shooting reviews, so I may edit out some of the boring parts, but I don't want a video that's just full of glamour shots and aerobatics. I want the viewers to see how the plane flies - start to finish. After all, when they watch one of my reviews, I want them to see a "flight", not just the highlights of a flight. |

well, keeping the ground in the view is a great way of seeing just how the airplane flies.
