Thanks Steve.

I tihnk kyrlon is what most people use and not all Krylon's are glo fuel "resistant" but most are (to be read - test).  I understand it's best to wait a week as well for a complete cure before using it.

The 2 part automotive urethanes are fuel proof, as are any of the 2 part epoxy based paints. It's iffy for most others. Hot exhaust is an outstanding paint remover, even for fully cured enamels.

Krylon paint is not fuelproof, it is Rustoleum spray paint that is fuelproof to about 15% nitro, some colors are not as fuelproof as others. I use a lot of white and red Rustoleum and have no problem with 15% glow fuel.

I have used 2 part acrylic enamel auto paint with no problems on my sport plane with 10%, however, i had to make a repair and to was to lazy to use the auto stuff and used the acrylic enamel from a can and, guess what, it isnt fuel proof. one of these days Ill have to strip it and repaint that section.
