RE: Standbox system
You know if you're the manufacture of that it's within the rules to have Product announcements,, you don't have to pretend to be a new member and post this. If I'm off base here I apologize
I must say, I like that product, I'd seen this video before,,, but I fly much larger planes so it won't work for me,, besides it being a little pricey The other thing,, That web site sucks, each time you try and look at a different picture it reloads the entire page,, very poor web site design, I gave up after 3 pics good luck |

It does look neat, but too expensive IMO for what it is. I may just whip a few of them up in my garage for free.

If you need the model on the bottom - and you have enough room to spread the upper units all over to get to it - you didn't need the storage units to begin with. ;-)
I use $13 Robart stands and furring strip/PVC pipe w/insulation racking. Cheap and infinately expandable - and any model and wing is readily available. I also have a few "built-ins" to get models off the floor (nothing worse than backing up and hearing that sickening "crunch" sound). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/HPIM0597.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/HPIM1660.jpg |
RE: Standbox system
Being foam i cant imagine its stable when stacked several high.. and looks a bit narrow to stack so many.. but good idea.
