Trim on EP plane
 

Hi, I want to add some trim on a ARF EP foam plane. The material I will be applying is similar to Monokote Trim with the "sticky" glue (not the heat adhesive).

To have a better control on placement , can I spray the EP with some soapy water as if I were applying stickers to covering? Or is there another way? I want to prevent the trim to stick prematurely (too fast).
