best way to clean a gumed up nitro carb
 
i have a nitro carb that has been sitting and now its stuck, whats the easyest way to clean so it will move, please help, thanks for your time

Heat is the best way for me a soldering iron to the carb

You can also soak the carb in a jar of glow fuel. Just remove the O-rings first. That's only if the heat wont work. Sometimes just a drop of fuel in the throat loosens it also.

I use a heat gun and give it a lubing with 0-20 motor oil or any good quality light oil, this works well for carbs and engines.

From experience I can tell you do not leave it soak in pure alcohol for very long or it will corrode.
