Servo Connector Extractor
1 Attachment(s)
Today I was installing an LED light to turn on with the switch and let me know the aircraft is live. Channel 5 was my only vacant channel so I tested it for voltage by plugging in a servo wire. Power was good but getting the servo connector out from the receiver was not too easy. The servo connector was in a gang of 7 connections. Giving it some thought, I made this handy servo connector extractor. The 2 pinch legs are tapered. The bottom leg is angled back to catch the small tab at the bottom of the connector. The top leg just presses down to hold the connector. A slight pull eases the connector from the receiver. This works with Futaba connectors. Not sure about the other systems out there. Hope this helps.

Damn good idea. Beats thin-nose pliers. Think I'll make one up before I forget.
