Bisson "Pitts" smoke manifold?

Any ideas on fabricating a smoke injector manifold for a Bisson Muffler. Figuring the most optimum results for massive smoke would be achieved by mist atomization. I was thinking of a small-1/8" OD brass tube. Both ends capped. With several fine holes drilled on centerline. Then braze this piece to a pressure tap fitting. Bolted on the inside of the muffler, adjacent to the exhaust inlet. Voila'-a smoke injector nozzle. Anyone done anything similar? I'd appreciate your ideas.
Using the Sullivan Skywriter pump on a OS 1.60.
Any ideas??? Thanks for your time.

RE: Bisson "Pitts" smoke manifold?

I think you will find you get better smoke by feeding smoke oil through a coil of metal tubing either inside or outside the muffler, pre-heating the oil before it is released into the hottest part of the exhaust, usually right in the exhaust port area of the engine. JIM
