Thunderbolt,
where you have your bs and dp does the table have a shute build into it for saw dust collection?
Wattmeter, Yes it is a dust and chip chute. Works pretty well. However, I reorganized my shop a few weeks ago and no longer use it.
Kelly
Thanks ,it just looked insteresting and though of doing mine that way.
Had a vac hooked up to the botton?

Hey Wattmeter, Sorry for the slow reply.

I was going to build a drawer on the bottom to remove the dust and chips, but before I got that far, I needed to try it out. So I layed a cardboard box on the floor to catch the dust and that was as far as I ever got with it. But it worked great!! (and so did the box)

I burn out easy sometimes.
Later,
Kelly

here's a few pics of mine. Just getting back into the hobby after selling everything about 4 years ago. This is the area above my garage. It's about 13x23. It needs serious work but will have to do until I can find the time to put together a new building bench.

This is right in my house. When I paint, I take it out on my closed porch and open the door so the fumes don't get in the house. My wifes computer is on the other side of my little shop.

I have found one of the toughest things is remodeling a shop after you have it full of "Junk". I have been shuffling things from one end to the other while I put up some new benches and get geared up for building season. Progress of this fiasco can be found here > http://www.dziedzic.me/workshop.htm With any luck it will be completed before the end of October.
