When using a pull-pull system on the rudder, what is a good way to connect tail wheel steering???

The tail wheel controlled via the rudder with springs. Easy to do, adjust and light weight too.

What size ship? the Sullivan tail wheel assemblies work well on ships up to about 120-140 size.

I use the Sullivan tailwheel bracket on all of my planes that have steerable tailwheels.

The bracket mounts on the fuselage and one end of a provided steering spring is attached to the bracket at the arrow in the picture, and the other end is bent at 90 degrees and inserted into the bottom of the rudder. When the rudder turns, the tailwheel turns. No additional hardware is needed.

I like this design better than having the tailwheel attached to the rudder. With the Sullivan the stress of those occasional hard landings is transfered to the fuselage rather than the rudder.

I have used that type on smaller a/c but not on a larger (140 Stinger). I like the way they work and will give it a try...Thanks.
