Flat winged trainer....balancing

I was just wondering if I should balance my trainer which has a flat wing now, upside down or right side up ?

Also is there a standard CG on trainers ? The manual doesn't mention anything about balancing the plane . I guess that is what I get for buying a cheapie huh ? Thanks . ;)

You can balance the trainer right side up, usually right on the spar, which
is usually about 1/3 or 33% of the chord, which is usually a pretty good
place to balance a trainer....usually..... :D

Sir , I just have to say you are absolutely remarkable. I plugged the numbers into COG calculator and came up with a number in which the plane was nose heavy. Then I moved the plane on the balancer until it balanced and wouldn't you know it is perfectly balanced on the spar ? [X(] . Thanks Flyboy ;)

luck or not it was an educated guess. keep in mind I balanced the plane before you posted the first time. Do you have any lottery numbers in mind ? :)

The high wingers balance right side up, because they hang better on the
balancer. The low wingers hang better upside-down, so they balance
inverted. You can balance almost any plane on the spar. Aero-batic
planes balance further back than normal so they can snap and spin
better....but they can get nasty.

Swept back wings are another story, as well as double taper wings.

FBD. :D

The plane had 2 successful flights today . The snap roll and the speed are the same as having the dihedral in the wing .
