Sanding question
 

The nice part is... the 4* isn't too picky about the leading edge being perfect. ;)

I used a razor plane to remove the majority of the excess wood. This allowed me to take off a long thin EVEN strip each stroke. Just 8 or 10 strokes with the razor plane and a light sanding to finish rounding it off... it was done. (Iclamped the wing in place to allow one stroke to go full span of one panel. ;) )

Use a fairly long block or bar while you are sanding. Look at the root and tip ribs and make sure it's about the same shape.

Fortunately this is the only piece that has to be sanded to the proper shape. The rest of the sanding is mostly just smoothing things out.
