Smoke System Woes
 

I'm flying a Goldberg Super Chipmunk with a Saito 100. I've put on a Sullivan Pitts Smoke Muffler and am using a SLimline smoke pump. The pump works great when the hose is disconnected from the muffler but nothing comes out when the hose is connected and the plane is running. Currently I'm using Super-Dri smoke oil.

any suggestions?

hello
try a one way check valve as close to the muffler as possible so there is very little backpressure to the pump! call dick http://www.bennettbuilt.com/bbtable.htm he will send one out!

We fixed it yesterday. Turns out the smoke muffler had a plug in the nipple where the smoke fluid went in. Man, did I feel dumb.
