fixing styrofoam: techniques

73 inch QQ Yak 54.
I used thin CA to glue a piece of wood for the antenna straw. The CA dripped out and totally melted the styrofoam on both sides of the fuse down to the sheet. Yes I should have used foam safe CA glue. I know that now.
There seems to be no good answers from other forums on how to repair/replace styrofoam on the inside of a fuselage.
What type of glue? What techniques?
FYI: The styrofoam is the beaded type that looks like small b. b.s that are pressed together.

RE: fixing styrofoam: techniques

Squirt a dab of polyurethane glue in there, mist with water several times during the four hour setup. The more you mist, the more gap filling it will provide.

The same happened to me with my A-10 hinges. Mix microballons with 5 min epoxy and fill the gap.

Regards.
