Received the Menards flyer yesterday. There's the tool cart that can be made into a field box. The tool case looks good enough to hold two transmitters.

I also saw the Menards flyer in the Chicago Area. They've got a lot of clamps on sale. A 6" Quick-Grip clamp runs around $16 at the hardware store(I recently bought one) - Menards is selling it for $8. The clamps are pretty handy when you're building. If you want to look at the ad, they have a web site.

Just a bit of advice; check the cases over carefully before you pick one out to take home. There's sometimes paper covering the sides.

I had mine for a short time and the thin aluminum covering on the top cover started to bubble up in the middle. Still a good case for the $ but it's not too pretty anymore.

Also, it's hard to get stickers to stay on it :-)

You can buy epoxy by the pound at Menards.

What kind of epoxy? Polyester? If so have you ever smelled the stuff? My wife banned it's use in the house because it had such a bad oder. I thought I saved a ton of cash by buying this huge tub of epoxy for $8.00. It smelled so bad we had to get out of the house and let it air out. It cost me $15.00 to go out to eat and $150.00 at the mall. Just to return and find a cold house with a bad smell! :)

Great!! now I have a pound of epoxy that I can't open and use, thanks Dale. Man just when you think you got a good deal. Really it can't stink so bad it drove ya out of the house can it?? I'll crack that thing open tomorrow and see what happens thanks for the heads up.

I just say, "It's no worse than the smell of your nail polish honey."

(then she drops $150 at the mall anyway)

I diden't think it was too bad at first... untill I used it to seal the entire in side of a boat hull. It took about 4 oz of the stuff. After a while even my stomach started to turn. I plan to install a exaust fan in my work shop and see if it helps next time. When I told my wife that the stuff was alot cheaper she told me that SHE would pay the difference!!! I have yet to see that!

Just the fact that I am buying epoxy by the pound still has me scratching my head, on the one hand I think wow, I'm into this so much I need to buy epoxy by the pound, on the other hand I think wow! I"m into this so much I need to buy epoxy by the pound. Does that make sense ??? Maybe I'll go take a couple sniffs of the stuff and see if it stinks, maybe it will clear up my thinking a bit hehe.

Sorry!!!!!

Rockmon I am sorry! Go and use your pound of epoxy where ever you want! I was just at Menards and saw the product that you bought. It's good stuff and with a low oder. I bought a can and tried it my self. I thought you bought the epozy found in the automative section for fiberglass repairs. I think it was Bondo Brand. That's the stuff to watch out for!

I have seen two of these carts that were converted. The one I saw had three removable sections. The guy used one fro Airplanes, one for Helicopters and the other held all his fuel.
