Ribbons???
 

I just have a question on covering, I have covered a Kaos with monekote and now I would like to cut out my trim colors to look like ribbons, to Show the depth. Can some one help with this, I read the thread on the the flag coverings and that helped some but I am planning a three color ribbon pattern

you need a slightly darker color in the fold of the ribbon, and a slightly lighter color on the "high spots" of the ribbon. I doubt you're going to find the color differences you want in monocote or any other covering.
Monocote can be painted I don't know how durable it is.
