Winter storage for RC planes
Does anyone one have any tips for winterizing glow planes and hanging them up nicely?

RE: Winter storage for RC planes
don't do it fly em instead....but if you must...fully charge the battery and then disconnect it....lots of after run oil in the engine and hang em slightly nose down to keep the oil on the front bearing..this is of course after you have ran the fuel out

RE: Winter storage for RC planes
I keep small electric heater in my trailer where I store my planes. You don't want the batteries to freeze. Other than that and what was said above, it pretty much covers it. Now, in the summer I use a electric fan and a roof vent to keep the temps in line. Otherwise, high temps can cause the covering to wrinkle and it is not good for some adhesives and electrontics.

It gets relitively cold and I don't have time to fly at school because I am so busy with my major and Buckeye Nation activities.
