esc and motor......
 

Hello all, i know many will not agree with me but for all asing about esc's and motors check this out...... you could run a lower turn motor on almost any esc, i run a 10 turn on a xl5 rated for 15 turn on 540 can and i almost beleaved it until i found a site for rc tunning if you read it right and follow you could run a nice set up if you cannot afford and better esc, i also have a vxl i dont use im good with the xl5. i did have the typicle (spelled wrong) over heating issue until i fould out just change up the gearing..... lower the turns smaller pinion gear and bigger the spur depending on vehicle make and model..... rccartips.com would be the place dont knock it until you tried it, i was down talking to until i tried it......
