Battery charging

Does anyone know if you can use a y connector for servos can be used to charge multiple battery packs or will it just charge one good and the other poorly?

As long as they are the same MAh rating, it will charge them equally, but it will take twice as long. So you're better off just charging them one at a time

Seems like it will take the same amount of time to charge them both whether you do it together or separately. Am I missing something?

In general, it's a poor idea to charge batteries in parallel. How successful you can be in doing so depends on what type of batteries and charger you're using.

You can charge LiPo or Pb based batteries in parallel. If it is a Nixx, you will most probably ruin one or the other if you charge in parallel . As to using a Y connector, if your currents are very high (conservatively more than 500 milliampers) it is not a good idea.
