Default Xmods??

Hello guys, this is my first post in this forum. Anyway, I'm not too sure if Xmods fall in this thread or not, but whatever. Any one currently owned one? I owned 3 Xmods which is the Audi R8, Corvette Z06 and Dodge Challenger. All 3 are not stock. The Audi R8 is 4wd with a bunch of suspension upgrades. The Dodge Challenger is my drag car, and the Corvette Z06 is a speed car with a Stage 2 motors with locked differential and 12:23 gearing with stiff suspension to run up to probably 15-17 mph?.Enough about me, how about you?

I had one a while back.

it was 4wd, got a CF driveshaft, made my own motor using the endbell of the stock motor, and the can from a crest spinbrush motor that I took out the armature and unwound some windings and resoldered it. I also dissasembled an old 4.8V nikko battery pack and made 2 2 cell packs that I zip tied to either side and wired it up in series.

I dont know the top speed but it moved pretty good.

Ive got a couple of the old gen 1 Xmods, the camaro and mustang.
I never tried to speed em up because I liked the speed like it was,
I thought it was more realistic in there stock form.
I do like the sound of your drag car, have you tubbed it or modded it ?

Well, after reading this post I went and pulled the mustang out of mothball.
I put the batteries in and it just sat there and wouldnt move, had to push it to get it goin.
(like you used to push the old slotcars)
IS there anything I should clean off to make it run better? it sat for quiet a while!
