Toy rc with hobby rx

I am looking to find information on how to use the toy grade esc in my rc but use my hobby grade rx and rx to operate it.
any help is great!

i do a lot of these type of mods to maisto rock crawlers. subscribe to S30uploads on youtube. forget using the original esc, you can get one on ebay for less than 10 bux!
