If the grease is in a pack, maybe you could suck it up with a turkey flavoring injector (metal tip removed), then inject it into the hole that way??? You might need to put the metal tip back on to get the air out from the syringe and put pressure on the grease to make it flow.

All good ideas, Nat. Thanks for the advice. If I were to do this, I think I'd attack the gearbox from the side to get it done instead of doing what I did from the bottom. It would be able to be accessed easier, however, will not allow water to drain out should there be any inside the gearbox. Of course, you could just take the gearbox apart again to mitigate the water, so it doesn't matter all that much. It's still yet another option to go for. Options are good to have, especially when the gears appear to be very different based on what NB model you have. Thanks!

Sorry, I haven't been too chatty in here lately. I was a victim of a rear-end collision on my way to my birthday party last weekend. My car took a pretty hard hit. Allow me to share the photos. I think you'll be able to figure out which vehicle was mine.
My wife was in the car with me when we were hit. Now, both of us are on Flexoril and Naproxen to relieve the pain. X-Rays showed swelling in the tissues between the discs in our necks from the whiplash. I'm on light duty at work now for 6 weeks just to try to stay off of short-term disability which will only pay me 60% of my salary. I lost one day from work as they needed a medical release before I could return. My wife immediately went back to work as she is a paper pusher doing data entry for an insurance company.
We have to wear these:
for two weeks to take the pressure off of our necks and allow the tissues between the discs to heal. We're not as amused as the old guy in the pic, that's for sure!!! One week down, one week to go on these friggin' things. They make it real hard to look down, turn your head, even drive a car... including R/C.
So, with this setback, I've been using my tax refund to get together the pieces for making the Aflac duck truck in the "Monster Tires" commercial. The body shell should be in tomorrow, and the decals should arrive sometime next week. I figure a week's time will be more than enough for the paint to fully dry.
As for paint, do you guys suggest I go over the shell with a layer of clear coat?
Please let me know.
Also, should the clear coat be applied over the decals to keep them from coming up, or before I apply them because the clear coat might peel them up??? They will be printed on 3M vinyl peel & stick as stated below.
Now as for the cervial collar... I have to ask... does one size fit all if you have a pencilneck???

as for the clear coat question, yes it would be smart. it protects the paint fro all weather conditions so when you wipe off mud from the shell with water your paint wont come off with it. choose your clear coat wisely. regular clear coats will take the shine away from paint that is ment to be shiny, like my silver paint, but a good one to use is crystal clear enamel. makes your paint shine

Thanks... I'm spending US$40 for these AU$60 decals. I don't want to wreck them. Shipping alone was like US$13 for air mail from Aussie land. I can't find these decals anywhere else as NASCAR is a PITA when it comes to licensing rights. Even if I could find these in the U.S., I still wouldn't get the same level of detail that PattosPlace.com is putting out.

Update: The Aflac Duck Truck is coming along, but on the slow side. I still have physical (my body) and time (work) issues I'm trying to overcome from the car wreck. Here's a shot of what I have so far...
McAllister Racing 1:10 Scale 2009 NASCAR Ford Fusion Car of Tomorrow
The body has been trimmed and the wheel wells cut out. The windows have been masked over, but need to have the frame work cut from the vinyl... need a new Exacto. Next step is to mask off the rear bumper and the front nose piece as they'll be painted green instead of the primary black. The sides will be decals that are green already, of which, I'll have Home Depot mix up some paint with their computer color matching system. I guess latex will be best for the occasional flexing going on in these areas???
