Default Does New Bright RC Really fit into the Category of Unusual RC?

I have seen a lot of threads about New Bright trucks/car recently. What does everyone think, are they really unusual?

Well it seems to be rather popular, and besides if we posted these newbrights in a different forum, like rc rock crawling or something like that, we'd just get ripped to shreds by the hobby grade "participants" because they don't understand. All of these newbrights are very advanced with modifications, and Texx and YaleforScale (just to name a few) have tons of knowledge about anything having to do with many different areas of modifications for darn near anything and IMO they do belong here in Unusual because of what they've been through to make them how they are, yes they are rock crawlers but at the same time soo much more, and it may not be RC Skydiving or something like that but its unique in its own sense, it shows people that taking a cheap rc and with a little elbow grease and very little money it can be something great. So before taking this area away from the unusual section please take this into consideration.

I was just posing the question because I saw this forum being overrun with threads about new brights (if you look right now the majority of all the items on the first page are new bright related) which is pushing the "unusal" (i.e. snowmobiles, atv's skydivings) rc stuff to the second page.

This forum is turning into a crawler forum. Take it to the crawler forum!!

If you are afraid they will make fun of you there harden up and prove to them why you belong. All you are doing is building crawlers.

Cross, I couldn't agree with you more, this has basically turned into a place for people who are afraid to post in the real "rock crawler" section because they are afraid to get mocked for their "crawlers". Look at the poll, most people agree that these are not all that "unusual"

Maybe we should start some threads about clodbusters, summits, ax-10s, and other crawler and see how long New Bright stays at the top (since according to Yale, this is now a crawler forum).

The NEWBRIGHT are not comparable to any of you rc appointed ..

These are rc / toys .. ( NEWBRIGHT )

But having a small square on your forum, we would be happy ..

I think you already have a section ((crawler)) .. We will not disturb them ..

PLEASE, be forgiving .. [8D]

Yes, your newbright discussions are about crawlers.

Can you explain to me logically why you belong here and not the crawler forum?

The discussions about limiting straps and beadlocks belong there for sure.

I believe that he who carried us here, did not mix, the NEWBRIGHT with other brands crawler (in your section, Crawlers) ..

On our old forum, we had a special section for our crawler NB ..

Do not feel welcome, troubling me greatly ..

If this pattern continues, I will take a decision very soon ..[]

All I was trying to point out that this discussion of New Bright Crawlers is way off topic of what the forum is meant for "Discussion of Airships, Blimps, LTA, VTOL, Ground Effect Vehicles, Hovercaft and more". There are plenty of other forums for either Crawlers, Monster Trucks, and Cars.

Fine, I give up, but why not try and join all of us in the crawler section, who know maybe you will get more people interested in the whole newbright scene.
