What I used for the drive belt and clutch & bell was from the ArtAttack snowmobile . I called and talked to the owner on what i had and he told me what i needed to match up . Very nice guy he is .I did use the gear that came with the new bright sled and glued / bolted the 2 together as you can see in the pic .http://artattacksnowmobile.net/html/parts_list.html here is the web site to get the parts . The other pic shows the clutch ,bell, flywheel , and belt setup . I also used the axle that was used on the new bright sled . i did do some modifications to the axle . I cut some groves in it for some E ring clips to hold the axle in place and attach the drive belt wheel on . Hope this helps . If anymore questions , ill do my best to get you the answers . I have lots of pics .

Man, you did an excellent job! My only concern is the motor mount falling apart. But that is a little chance.
Sumcruz: would you consider making all the parts for the front suspension and seeling them to me? Is there a messaging system here on RCU?
Thanks!

The engine is bolted to the sheet metal and the sheet metal is screwed to the wood blocks like you would do for a airplane . Then the blocks are screwed & glued to the sled frame . I can give you all the info. on how & what you will need for the front suspension . IT TAKES TIME . You got to make sure all the parts operate with each other and cut the parts to the right size . You got questions I got answers . Just ask .

Maybe your handle should have been "wintrcruz" !
Do you have any video of her running in the snow?
Maybe next season I'll add those front turn buckle mods to my sled.

OK I have some updates:
Here is how I am re-enforcing both the suspension mount and the engine mount.
It is kinda like a chassis...I will glue it in using super epoxy that my dad brought home from work.
That stuff is strong!

I have a rear suspension prototype video on the way. I used the "sister" shocks that TechyJoe used. He used the Evader ST shocks, and they were all out of stock EVERYWHERE, so I used the Evader EXT2 shocks. Same specs, just not aluminum. I picked up a set of 4 on ebay for $17 with free shipping.
Video is uploading now.

Here's a little video I did on my cell phone of the brake in ride . I have a better video I'll post later
<iframe width="420" height="315" frameborder="0" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CASmhs_wlMA" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
I am having trouble embedding a video from you tube. As you can see all I get is the embed code. But when I am in edit mode I can see the video. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, just erase everything, put your link down, highlight it, then push the youtube button.
Also, what is your username and what is the title? It says that its a incorrect link.

She's moving pretty good - Awesome - I love RC snowmobiles!
We've had very little snow here as well. One freak storm just before Holloween and another in mid January which melted away in 2.5 days.

Yes, that guy (Mr. Krupp) builds great models. He's also been trying to get a manufacturer to accept and build his designs for a few years now. Don't know why he has no takers. Many people would love one of his snowmobiles even if it cost $900.00.
