Brushless motor in a toy grade boat?

I was just wondering if its possible to put a brushless motor in a cheap toy grade boat. Would it ruin electronics or anything? Please Help!

Brushless motors use 3 wires and use a special type of electronics. You would mess up the motor and electronics.

Brushed motor should work okay as long as it runs on the same voltage as the original motor did.
