sounds like a cool r/c is there any chance of a pic ???. some electronics will take a higher voltage it just depends how robust they are .thanks

yea its quite a fun toy but i live on a farm and there isnt much cement to run it on. if it falls over you hit a button and his arms turn and push it back on its wheels. ill post some pics later on today

I have the same thing. Make sure you keep the gears clean. Small rocks can get lodged in there and burn up the motor! <div>It also likes to collect dust and stuff. Take it apart once a month or so to clean it out. Its a load or fun, just dont take too many big jumps! I learned from that mistake! haha
<div>Have fun! </div></div>

RE: tony hawk rc

yeah i can hear in the gears that they are dirty and i will be cleaning them out soon. do u think i would over heat the motor if i cover the holes? i plan to put a stiffer spring in the front so it doesnt fall over so much

RE: tony hawk rc

You should be able to overvolt to 9.6V from 7.2 with no issues. I wouldn't cover the holes unless you make new ones to vent the heat. If you get mung from the bottom, see if you can put some in the top.

RE: tony hawk rc

when i cleaned the gears i noticed that the motor covers the hole and stops the dirt from comming in, so thats not a problem like i thought it was.

RE: tony hawk rc

well i took it all apart and went to take some pics and my camera wouldnt turn on, so there is no pics for today. i did the 9.6 v conversion. i took our the screws on the bottom and pulled the  body off. then i soldered the wires onto the wires from before. now i can use my 7.2 volt battery and 9.6 v battery. i should be able to play for a while. i have 3 batteries now.

neyou86 .. Good work on these 9.6 volt ..

On BIG-CRAWLER, I have two battery 7.2 volt 2000 Mah, installed in parallel ..

My running time is approximately one hour and more .. I am satisfied ..

The time, execution is very important, for fun.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...sn/thumbup.gif
