Hello

I have an original model Electric stampede.

i want to lower it a bit and make the wheelbase wider.

A friend recommended that I buy this proline Protrac suspension kit for the SLASH, and use it on my stampede:

can anyone suggest a cheaper solution that will give me the ability to set my suspension height to a few different heights, since the stock shock towers only have one shock mount hole,,, and a way to make my wheelbase wider, all while reducing my wheel wobble??

my wheels also have bad wobble, which, I was told by my buddy, the proline protract kit will fix too...

I just dont know if I want to spend $56 ...


Any thoughts?

I have proline 3.2" badlands and some proline 2.2" holeshot tires I run with it..

but i'd like to make the truck wider.. any ideas how?

what is you point in widening it

I want to widen it to help improve handling and stability..

i put Axial oversize rims and oversize Terrarizer tires on my Emaxx and it made my emaxx 2 inches wider and improved stability and handling tremendously. the stampede loves to tip over on a turn or hell even when hitting a bump!

so i am hoping by widening it,, it will help this issue

just askin to help handling on road i would use really soft springs and i would look for offset rims

read the last few post.  Ericg2000 lowered and widened his pede, looks good too!
