Default T maxx 3.3 problems

First off I'm new to nitro rc's, I just recently got a used maxx when i try to start it the ez start motor spins for a couple seconds and stops. After doing this a couple times it just doesnt spin at all, the engine check light or whatever also turns off and im not too sure what this means. I've cleaned the gears and housing for the ez start and still does the same. Once I take the glow plug out the ez start motor spins like nothing was ever wrong. Maybe some of youse guys have any clue about what is going on.

thanks, ElectricZombie.

Sounds like your flooding your engine. Try a new glow plug.

I've been using a glow plug ignitor, I did flood the engine a bit but once i cleared it all out it did the same exact thing. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the info.

1: ez start wand battery dead or not charging properly
2: flooded (most likely)
3: 2 lights on the wand when button depressed? means Flooded
4: no lights? dead battery?

Hard to say without being there lol. an almost dead battery will spin the motor if the plug is out, there is no resistance. if it floods, try turning it over a few revolutions manually using the flywheel and try again.
