Default MYSTERY Grave Digger

HELP!!!! I just bought this 4 wheel drive Grave Digger at a swap meet. The first time I ran it the front axle broke. No one can identify what the running gear is. Does anyone knows what it is or where I can get a new or used axle assembly. I was going to give it to my grandson for Christmas. Thanks Steve

Looks to be a Clod Buster truck by Tamiya.

Checked out Clod Buster truck, the gear box is totally different. And yes the axle was a lengthened Tamiya axle with the molded on yoke for the differential but the housing is a factory molded item. Whoever made the axle about an inch longer. Please keep any ideas coming.

Just because the gear box might be different doesn't mean that it isn't a Clod Buster or based off of a Clod Buster style truck.

Well the mystery is over, the running gear is from a Traxxas USA1, everything is a match. I might have a line on new axles for it. Now to find out what & where the frame came from.
I should sell it & get a new model truck that would be easier to keep running
Made a mistake in an earlier post the axles are Traxxas

Traxxas???? Traxxas never made a truck with that type of chassis.
