Default Installed the Traxxas steel cv driveshafts (5451r) Problems with steering

As stated, I installed the Traxxas steel cv axles, 5451R on my brushless EMaxx and now it won't steer as tight as it did with the plastic axles.
I called Traxxas and all they said was to back out the screws for the hub carriers and I should be able to turn tighter.
Any suggestions on what I can do to get it to turn tighter?

If they are a solid axle.then you need to becareful on how much to back the ball joints off,Because the axle can pop out of the cup an jam up on a jump or
rough terrain.
I don't know about your truck, but some have a stopper somewhere around the steering bellcrank that you may can remove.
