Glow plugs ???

Default Glow plugs ???

Just bought two new glow plugs from traxxas 3232x and truck would not start so i took the new glow plug out and tested it and got nothing, hooked up my meter and have power to glow plug but no glow, so i opened the second new one and tested it got nothing out of it either, are these glow plugs junk or what ???

Are you sure your glow driver is fully charged? Although not impossible, new plugs do sometimes come from the package as no good. If you have a wood toothpick handy, put the glow plug in your charger glow driver. Then stick the toothpick down the center of the plug element and slight press down. It should light up if it wasnt originally. If this is the case, your plugs were faulty out of the package, and in that case, I’d exchange them wherever you bought them. In the future, I’d use a higher quality plug. Novarossi C6S or C6G are great plugs for 20-25% nitro fuels. C5 for 15-20% nitro and C7 for above 25%.
