Default T-Maxx Engine upgrade?

Ok here it goes. I am looking into getting a new engine for my t-maxx. I have been told a couple different engines to look the

OFNA Picco .21 Maxx Engine T-Maxx
Wasp .18 T-Maxx
Wasp .21 SB T-Maxx
OS .18 TM

If there are any other let me know. I am kind of new to the sport and would like people that has been in the sport awhile give me info on the pros and cons of them and which one might be the best and why.

Any help would be great.

Why not look at the RB Concept 323? Its a .23, and I have heard it is a total beast! Easy to tune and fast!

OS TM is a direct drop-in and more power than -I- need. I keep it de-tuned as the front tires still come off the ground with hard acceleration and that is with many metal parts and a steel rollcage.

If I crack the thottle open, when it is "race tuned", from a dead stop it just turtles itself. [sm=thumbup.gif]

If you want direct drop in... OS .18
If youve got some money to spend... Mach .26 Conversion.

I have them both, great stuff

You said the OS .18 is a complete drop in, can you still us the EZ Start with the .18 motor?

Yes, you can run the ez-start or a pullstart off the TRX 2.5 on the .18 O.S.

picco .21 is pretty cheap imo and has tons of power. Never had an os motor so my 2 cents is bias. .21 is also a direct drop in and allows the ez start system to be bolted right up to it. minor adjustemtns with the throttle linkage and your set.

Put the OS .18 in it. It is a great engine and is a direct drop in with no mods.
