Default fail safe?

Which fail safe unit is the best for my T-Maxx. Had a problem with it today...wide open and non-stop!

I have an Ofna Micro and have not had any issues with it since it has been installed. It has saved my truck several times now.

I have the venom failsafe. Luckily I haven't needed it though.

I've run my Revo out of batteries, and it has never gone wild on me... I noticed that the optidrive would start flashing... and wouldn't let me get full-throttle on my truck... then it came back to idle... and I had no batteries left... not sure if that's a failsafe-type of action, but... I've never had a problem.

The return spring works fine if the batteries die. It will pull the carb back to neutral. However, it has absolutely no effect if interference or a stray signal take over your truck. It also does nothing if you get out of range. These are what the fail is for.

I have the ofna micro and it is really nice, goo dprice, does what it should. I've also been looking at the new venom that has overheat protection. It looks really sweet, but it does a bit more than a traditional failsafe, in that it also monitors temps and can limit throttle once you hit preset temp thresholds. Looks really nice but its expensive and with all the extra features, there is just that much more that can fail.
