this afternoon I ran about three tanks thru and several times after releasing throttle it would take several seconds for engine to return to correct idle, the spring has plenty of tension on it and the low speed mixture is set well with the pinch test. It was very responsive and ran perfect except that. It was bad enough to where after high speed passes I would let of gas hit full brake come to stop let off brake and car would drive on its on for a few feet the idle down. I had light smoke trail with now signs of it being to rich or lean tuning seemed perfect with temps around 210 230 degrees. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

richen the lsn up a little. Try 1/8 turn at a time untill the problem is resolved.

I actually think that your hsn may be a bit lean and your lsn a bit rich.

If it idles fine normally, and you did the pinch test for the LSN, DON'T touch the LSN. When you run the truck full throttle and let off, the engine stays racing for a few seconds then idles down. This is caused be being too lean on the HSN. Slightly richen that up, and you'll see a big diference.

Yes, it is either a lean HSN. Sometimes it is caused from a lean LSN also, I know this from personal expeirience. I would try richening the HSN first and see if that doesn't help, than try the LSN.
