Check your diffs. Normally any clicking sound would be made when the pinion gear is skipping on the ring gear.

Does it do it at idle? If so my truck does that if the idle is set too high

You might want to check your clutch.

For what? I took it apart last night and sanded the contact surfaces in the bell and shoes to get a smooth fresh start, and it seems to stay engaged all the time for some reason. I mean the spur gear will spin at idle.

Is your truck jerking slightly while idle? If so you may just be idling too high and engaging the tranny.

Do you still have reverse? If so maybe your reverse servo is not engaging forward properly?

That sounds to me like its a Clutch Spring problem, eiter the spring is gone..lol, or its stretched out to far.

Im honestly not to sure what the clicking sound could be however, I know that when my Clutch Shoe spring on my Max went, the shoes flopped around in the Bell when I would just push the truck.
