Default T-Maxx glow plug?

I have T-Maxx with the 2.5 engine and need glow plugs. The guy at the Hobbie Store says to use only Traxxas plugs? Has anyone used different plug with good luck?

When I asked for glow plugs for my TMaxx at my LHS they handed me McCoy #8 plugs. I am new to nitro so I assumed they were right. THey seem to work good... although I burnt one up after like 2 tanks of gas. Is that at all normal? haha Actually I don't know if its burnt up... I think I flooded it and thats why it wouldn't heat up. McCoy #8's work ok though.

Mc 59 with 20% nitro? I'm running the TMaxx with the original Pro .15 engine in it. Its my first nitro truck, so I'm just totally excited to hear it, smell it and see it run. I got it used from my sister's fiance... he gave it to me, i think he's tryin to get the family to like him more. hahaha ANyway, should a McCoy #8 be ok for my .15? Or should I try the 59 or 9?

If the #8 is working, then stick with it. f it's hard to start, constantly "flaming out" or just being a pain....then I'd try a Mc59.....
