Default T-Maxx 3.3 or Jato 3.3?

I am unsure of what nitro to get: T-Maxx 3.3 or the Jato 3.3. My friends all say get the Jato, but does anyone out there have the pros and cons of these two nitros? Thanks.

Jato's are cool and fast, WHEN you can get them up to speed. On dirt they're just plain squirrely. I think the Revo's and T-maxx's have just the right amount of weight to them to have fun with.

jato totally sucks on anything but pavement... its a glorified street car. drives and handles like garbage on the grass

Jaret92 is giving you the straight advice.
Between the T-Maxx and the Jato, the Revo is the best choice.

A Jato might be fun for awhile, but once you get over the wheelies and speed it loses its luster pretty quick.

Of the two I would probably get a T-Maxx, but I agree that you would be much happier with a Revo than either one.

I agree with beasley. I just sold my T maxx and bought a Jato. I ran the stock tires for break in and then went with a bigger tire like the Moabs. I can tell you that it handles very well and more than enough speed to not ever worry about a savage, big block t maxx or revo even touching you. With the bigger tires its not squrirrley at all. It hooks up great and whill going just hit the throttle anad you can get your wheelies and the power is very controllable with the bigger tires. I would agree that with stock tires its not worth the damn in grass or dirt. This is one of the best handling trucks that I have ever owned once everything is tweaked. I would say the Revo and savage is the best 4x4 you can get and if you want pure power you cant beat the jato.

Why is that? I think they are the same anyways. They are the gtr shocks and I do know the revo springs are the same size as the Jato springs.

I am going to go with the Revo springs because they are stiffer. This way you wont have to preload the shocks so much. Although they do just fine with the bigger tires.

It looks like the revo shocks are aluminum.

yeah but he's also kinda scared to go fast because he doesn't want to break his jato if he wreaks and i'm just like [email protected]#$ it if it breaks it breaks.

i have a revo and a jato i love my revo my jato im thinking of selling it because it brakes so mush and it cant jump like the revo. i have not seen a t maxx that runs good and that does not brake every time the person drive it so i would go with the revo but out of the 2 i would go with the t maxx over the jato
