Hey So Cal,
The Big Joes are cool looking . It really doesnt seem any slower. It's still is fast enough to hit things and break!
The Conv.Bug belongs to another customer of mine. I also have a 57 Chevy convertable and a 67 shelby mustang tribute that I am working on now! That was the mustang motor in my pics.
Catch you later!

Here's a few things I've done to my Revo. One mod from time to time for the past year. Scroll down and surf through the sub albums. Some stuff in there might interest some of you.

Awesome setup on your Revo. You seem to have it down to a science, your photo site is great too. Also I think you might need a pilots license to use that ramp. I am interested in the copper ring set up. I have popped mine out a couple times with light hits. Also I had to laugh at the video of you using your ramp, I guess that im not the only dad that is more into the toys then my kids!

I have heard nothing but good things about the RB 523. How does everybody who runs it like it? I am looking for a big block for my revo 2.5. I am debeting between the RB 523 and the mach 427.

the mach is a very good engine, believe me, i have 3 of them lol, if you get one, go the one with the teal cooling head, not the orange, the one with the teal head has a larger carb on it, in my opinion the mach would be the better option for bashing, it's easier to tune, but doesn't have the smooth power of the RB, it's more bottom end, but it will cost more to go the mach coz you'll need to go side pipe and big block convertion, so it's your call, both are excellent engines.

Hey guys , I need your help. What type and heat range glow plug should I run in my stock Revo 3.3 that I have had for a few weeks. I was running an OS LC3 hot plug and it only lasted about 2.5 qts of HEAVY RUNNING. I am running 20% Top fuel and I think it is a pretty good tune on the motor. I have some racers edge #3 hot plugs already on the way and I am second guessing myself.

Any advise on how long they should last and which heat range to use would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I use traxxas plugs, a bit expensive but the stock one lasted about 1-1.5 gallons

For good plug life, never let the machine run out of fuel.
Fill it up every 5 minutes.

hot plugs are fairly easy to burn out if your use them with the wrong fuel, and in the wrong sized engine (larger engines needs cooler plugs), your best off running a medium, in the TRX 3.3 i use the O.S 8, i can usually get about 7 liters per plug change (almost 2 gallons)

Thank you, I will go with a med heat plug, And I am also guilty of letting it run out of fuel, wich I will not do again!

if you've got the engine tuned correctly it wont matter if you run it out.

It may not matter if your bashing around in the dirt, but if your racing flat out on a straight away, it will lean out and suck the element right out of the plug.
