Default use thiese springs??

i was diggin through my rc stuff and found thiese springs, im not sure what they go to... i think there savage springs not sure... i got them in a lot of hpi mt parts... well anyway i wonder what would happen if i put them on my maxx shocks like this???the ones in the bag are stock maxx for comparison.......could i use 4 shocks then?? would it blow the shocks ?? what wieght oil to use??.. thanks in advance...

Uh I think the savage shocks are skinnier then the Maxx shocks.

they are much longer too.... i think they are skinnier but just take 1 shock off and see for yourself...... if they do fit you can probably use 4 of em......

they do fit, thats one on that maxx shock in the pic... but im afraid it will mess up my shocks like popping the bottom cap off because off the tension...?

I wouldnt use it, it looks kind of retarded to me...stick w/ your regular T-Maxx shocks

i cut them down to the size of the stockers and put them on the inside and the regular ones on the outside...it looks kinda cool and it seems like it will protect the shafts from sticks and crap that always bends them...

I tried cutting a spring once and it didnt really work for me becuase when I tried to mount it it would always slip off of the bottom retainer.

i put the cut end on the top, ill find out today when i run it..
