the engine is actually less powerful then a picco .28, or even a well ported O.S .21 v spec, the torque if you don't mess with the gearing will play with things but it isn't a very powerful engine, not to mention it is to big to even fit in standared big block engine mount,

i have seen a revo with a supercharged 20cc (.90) O.S 4 stroke plane engine in it, ran very well.

Yea l was thinking even if it could be fitted its weight would just smash engine mounts , just wanted to hear it from someone else ! Saw a pic of one in a revo, but no post to how it ran.

makes decent torque, 78 OZ/inch, but a stage two AB modded makes up to 90 OZ/inch with the right pipe, and 83 running an 086 which makes is most power, the CEN 7.7 makes 1.58 HP on a dyno at 25k RPM, the picco makes 2.39 on the same dyno at 31k RPM, it's really just a fuel guzzler, it's out of a CEN GST which weighs in at 17 pounds as well (a revo is 9.8 pounds, hell a savage is considered a heavy weight at 12.5 pounds...)

OS don't make a 90 4-stroke they make a 91 which is 14.95CC a 20CC would be a 120, I've seen a revo with a OS 56 in it, and I'm putting a OS 70 in my CRT.

are you sure it was supercharged?

ah so yeah right .91, so i was .01 off on the displacement and my convention to metric was off at least i tried, same thing still.

and i was sure it was supercharged, if you e-mail O.S about it you'll find they offer the option of a supercharger on there larger 4 strokes, they recan it's good for an extra 30% more power, dunno the actual figures of it but it's a nice piece of kit, they might not offer them anymore because i can't find it on there website anymore.

EDIT- after a bit of searching on the web, i found this, it's the .91 O.S but isn't supercharged, this ones from Canada i think.

no i don't [&o] i edited my last post with a pic i got off the web, but not this one i seen, perhaps i was simply mistaken and it was using a fuel pump or something.. the owner claimed it was supercharged and with the plumbing there it sure looked like it so i wasn't going to argue with him, in any case it's quite a nice job there i must say.

it was on display in the LHS (which isn't so local)

Way off topic but how hard would it be to put an airplane engine in a Revo?

very hard. because of the way the mounts are, the guy who did the one in the picture owns a metel CNC so all he as to do is draw it in what ever software he uses and push a button and its making the mount and he could go get a cup of coffee and still be working at the same time.
