Keep the revo or sell/trade it for the TT ST-1?
Alright guys, i wasn't sure where to post so I am putting it here and in the truggy forum. This I have a pretty nice revo but I am trying to decide if I should sell.trade it for the Thunder Tiger ST-1. I have a modded RB Concept WS7II engine that I really don't want to sell but I keep hearing a lot of people saying it will tear my trans and diffs apart. I know the ST-1 can handle the power but are they as good at racing? I will be bashing in the backyard on my track till I get more used to whichever one I have. I like the revo because you can do anything and everything to them and parts are not overly expensive. I just converted the revo to the 3.3. Which is ncier and more well built and suited for being a racer that is an occasional basher that can handle the power of my ws7? Here is a link to some pictures of my revo. http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii143/rez0469/. the first four pictures are the most recent ones. I also have some other stuff coming such as an O.S. .18tm, rpm axle carriers, frog arms, 3.3 cvds, tekno servo and battery box mount and some 150cc gas tanks and the TiN shock rods for my stock shocks. Do I keep it or sell/trade it? If anyone wants to trade me let me know.

get the thunder tiger. I had a t-maxx once I got the TT ST-1 all the breakage stopped and I could actually get 10+ ft air and controle it to land on all 4's you wont be disappointed! sell the revo. get a ST-1 from www.amainhobbies.com and use the $25 off code.

At amainhobbies.com they are selling for $300 with $25 discount right now. I wish I could swing it and get both of them. Unfortunately My funds will not allow that right now so that is why I am trying to decide, I would love to keep the revo and get an ST-1 though also.

I don't have many friends where I live. All of them moved away or wasted their lives doing stupid stuff. A couple of my friends I hang out with here have their own cars such as the baja 5b and many others. So I really only need one, that way I only have to pay for parts for one and I can hopup juts one.

I guess what I could do is wait a bit till I have the money and put the o.s. .18 in my revo and sell the .28 from the ST-1 and the radio and rx from the st-1 and I would be pretty good to go. That is the only other idea that I have, I would like to keep the revo since I have so much on the way for it from trading stuff for other stuff.. Also, I would try to get about $425 for my revo, enough money to buy the ST-1 and maybe some hopups for it.

IMHO.i voted to keep the revo, you have already put allot of time and coin into that truck.and its already where it needs to be,as for shredding the drive train, thats possible with any MT,i would run it,if it shreds the tranny lokk into some RRP gear for it
