Default Revo stuck in 2nd Gear???

I think my Revo is stuck in second gear. Here's some background info, its a 2.5 Revo that I upgraded to a 3.3 but left the tranny stock. I was doing some bashing and then I noticed that the engine sounded like it was winding high but it wouldn't really go anywhere. Also from a dead stop if I give it full throttle the engine winds up really high but it doesnt have the takeoff and torque like it normally does. So does this sound like I'm stuck in second or could there be a different problem. Where should I go from here?

sounds to me like a loose slipper clutch

Where is the slipper clutch? And if it is loose how do I tighten it?

Thanks for the info. Now I know where too check but Im still a little confused on how much I should tighten the slipper.

I checked and it was the slipper clutch. One carbon fiber piece was gone.

Well a good general setting for the slipper clutch, is to tighten down the nut that holds the spur gear and slipper on all the way down, till its completely tight, then back it off approx. 1/4 turn....

yes use this site it will help you alot. i had the same problem on my Revo 3.3 and just tightening up the slipper cluch nut helped alot.
for tightening it down it should be hard to turn the slipper clutch when the other end of the shaft is locked off.
