Default Converting 2.5R To 3.3

As it says in the subject, I am currently converting my revo from 2.5r chassis to an 3.3 chassis. (Scored one for 13.45 Shipped New)

So what do I need for the transformation. Ive bought the Tie rods for the steering servo. I know I need new transmission half shafts. But anything else?

Ill take picture of the transformation if you want

The 3.3 trans has a wide gear ratio instead of the standerd ratio the comes with the 2.5. Nice score on the new chassies! I hope I can find one that cheap.[8D] Are you gonna de-anodize the chassies before you put it together?

Where did you score that deal? Fleabay? I'm looking for a chassis right now... if I could get a 3.3 chassis for $14... I'd have no problem doing the conversion.

Yea, Fleabay.... Even I was surprised to win.

Ive been thinking about deionizing it. And polishing it but...How do you polish it? I know how to take the paint off, But not to polish[&:].

Well Im just happy to put a center diff and rear brake in

The reason it went for so little is because he didnt call it a chassis, he called it a chassis plate .

Well i should get it Tomorrow or Friday [>:].

You will need to get the tranny case for a 3.3 if you want to use the CD/rear brake kit cause the 2.5 tranny case doesnt have the mounting holes for the rear brakes .

The center front drive shaft assembly is longer. The 2.5 uses #5455, the 3.3 chassis uses #5456.

I did my 2.5/3.3 chassis a few weeks ago and last weekend I put in my center diff with the 500k diff oil and put diff oil in the front and rear diffs, the diff case and rear brakes and that took me all weekend. Just take your time. And 're definitely going to need a new 3.3 body. Did you get the chassis brace with it?

Yep, Got a chassis brace too. But where should I start? Take out the servos and stuff? Then where?

I started with the servos first..then did the rear section and then the front section and then I took the tranny out and did the diff gears.

I finished it .

It came out nice, Way longer than the 2.5R. While I was changing it I noticed something was wrong with my front diff, found out that the tooth on the diff gear was broken off [:@]. And a Bulkhead was snapped in half (I still put it back together though [>:]). But my next order from tower should have everything I need to make it run. OS.18TZ here I come [>:][>:].
