you cant force it back through, you have to take the screw thing out of the back of the carrier then put it through that way.

I also broke my upper a-arm. I did take it out of the lower a-arm and tried to force it in but it feels like I'm going to break or bend something...

Do you have a vise?

Yea, wouldn't that crack the plastic though? Or at least chew it up?

If you take the big hex screw out of the front and the pivot ball screw cdoes not pop or push in easy, then use a small socket on the back of the knuckle as a spacer and put the pivot ball in the front and slowly and carefully close your vice. The socket will act as a stand off spacre to allow you to push it into the housing. The threaded part of the pivot ball will push in through the socket.

Nobody has a solution to this? The vise didn't work because the angled design of the ball housing makes it impossible to keep the ball angled correctly, it just goes flying.

Just take that weird plastic triangle tool that the revo comes with and take off the pivot ball caps. Then just unscrew the pivot ball from the a-arm, and put it through the axle carrier back into the a-arm. Then just tighten the pivot ball cap down and turn it back about 1/2 a turn. It took me a while to figure it out too when I first tried it.

Oh ok. I'll see if I still have that triangle tool. Anyone have a pic of it because I don't believe I have anything triangular (I bought used...).

This is what you need.

You have to use the bottom side to unscrew the pivot ball caps.

Yea, it was really weird... funny though, he was driving like 2 MPH and hit a curb and just destroyed it... My dads parking lot it death to RC Cars. Same think happened to my T-Maxx but the shocks bent and broke my A-Arms...

It is all part of the Fun

P.S. Chillin With my bro tonight, we fixed the pivot ball no problem!
