Default My T-Maxx build

So I got this classic T-Maxx from a fellow member. Slowly but surely I have been upgrading it.

This is how it was:

This is how it looks now:

I just ordered a rear aluminum bulkhead, CVD's, stainless steel screws, and an engine.

Need more input, suggestions, criticism, etc

Definatley get some new shock towers. They do not make those body posts anymore so when you shave them off you are out of luck. I would also get new servos.

Im with donkey on this one; putting some better servos in will definitely be a worthwhile upgrade.

A upgraded reciever pack will help those servos. I have hitec servos on 2 of my maxxes. I used "Ultra Torque" for steering and "deluxe" for throttle. They work flawless. If you upgrade your engine you are going to need to do diffs also. Traxxas has a revised diff case that works good. I have been through all this 3 times and those are the things i did.

BTW, Forward only is a good call.

Do you have skid plates yet?

It's a cheap-ass TowerPro 995 Futaba chinese knock-off servo. It has worked so far. They claim it has 208 oz of torque. 2 for $10 on fleabay.

Please do not flog me I am ona budget

Anyways, Hi-Tec servos are already on it's way
