Not exactly. It would only be a problem if it caused the engine to overheat dramatically. Proper tuning should keep that from happening. I would expect that the engine temps would be higer than if it were run on a cooler day. I read someplace that a good rule of thumb for engine temps is around 160 - 180 degrees above the ambiant temps.
Having said that I DO NOT reccomend tuning for temps. Tune the engine for sound, smoke and performance and then check the temp for a reference point.

I think i have all of yall beat its been about 130+ every day for the past two months and it only gets hotter here in august. But i pretty much have no problem running my truck in any weather out here in Iraq. Just tune to where there is plenty smoke and stays running.
